Friends I have to share with you my most awesome, wonderful, splendiferous, fantabulous, great experience my partner, Dennis and I had with Carrabbas! I can’t say enough regarding how much I enjoyed an exclusive evening out!
I spend a lot of my day on twitter talking to friends, entering giveaways, making new friends, and merely having fun reading. Well some day last week, probably Monday, as the older I recieve the more I forget, there was a tweet from Carrabbas. I don’t remember HIS exact tweet, having said that i were required to respond and tell HIM I had never been to Carrabbas menu prices.
Well he or she is named Jamie FYI! Jamie could not believe I had not been. He explained how good it is and made me promise I would give it a try.
I discussed with my partner and that he was willing to try and we decided Thursday will be good because we will already be out at appointments and ready to eat when done, and in addition my daughter had a date so we wouldn’t need to bring her along and dish out money on her to enjoy too! Yes I am cheap at times LOL!
I notified Jamie we had picked Thursday to travel and he explained to be certain to ask for the owner, Ben once we arrived. Jamie and that i had fun bantering backwards and forwards the remainder of the week on twitter and once Thursday came I used to be hyped and starving now for many Carrabbas!
Dennis and I entered the restaurant and asked for Ben as we were seated. Within a few minutes, Ben the property owner arrived at our table introducing himself. Our waitress Tamela had also introduced herself! I explained to Tamela how our first holiday to Carrabbas came into being and she was wonderful.
The lighting in the restaurant was dim for mood lighting but my hubby has difficult seeing then and then he got a bit frustrated seeking to read the menu. I myself having never been was scrutinizing the menu because i had no idea the things i felt like eating. The lovely Miss Tamela spent quite a long time going over the menu with my partner, specially the soups and salads, while he loves salads and that is certainly what he orders 99.9% of times, as he wound up doing! He started his meal with Homemade Tomato Basil soup and then had the following for his meal:
Insalata Carrabba which is mixed greens with Mozarella and Romano Cheese, black olive, tomatoes, and red onions in vinagrette topped with grilled chicken. You will notice that in the first photo above.
I began my dinner with the Chicken Noodle soup which had a good spicy flair into it and it was great. We have to backtrack and say that I ordered iced tea to drink and lately iced tea has not tasted directly to me for reasons unknown, but dzhxlx tea was great! For my meal I ordered Pasta Weesie which had been specially prepared shrimp sauteed and in a lemon white sauce over fettuccine noodles. I discovered that this shrimp was tough and overcooked therefore i sent it back and asked for Carrabbas menu that is fettuccine alfredo tossed with grilled chicken, sauteed mushrooms and peas. Now that was a lot more like it. It was very delicious and as you have seen inside the photo above how much was left once i was done to consider home! After all I had in order to save room for dessert.
Once dessert was completed and that we were waiting around for our check, Ben came over to the table again (he had also checked on us repeatedly and also enjoyed a nice talk with us) and graciously informed us that dinner was on him and Jamie and that they really wanted to do that for all of us! I had been somewhat overcome with emotion when I thanked Ben and Tamela our waitress.
